Make a big impression with the most contagious cookie cutter around! Our Plague Doctor Cookie Cutter highlights the iconic shape of the top hat and beak - both elements of the doctor's costume. Cookie cutters include a sugar cookie recipe and are made in the USA!

For some historic context:

Charles de Lorme, chief physician to Louis XIII of France, created the Plague Doctor mask in 1619.  The mask was worn in addition to other clothing that physicians would wear to protect themselves from infection.   Fragrant “poseys” – sachets filled with sweet or aromatic things – would be put into the mask to shield the wearer from foul air.
